Making 20.000 €/$ (or 30.000 AU$) every month is a dream for many entrepreneurs who are just starting out on their Soul-led business. If you are starting from 0, before you get to consistency in your income, focus to get from 0 to your first 20k of total income.
The hardest barrier to break is the one that will get you from not making a profit at all to be making your first money, while doing what you truly Love. This will empower you then to go refine your strategy (and probably apply an updated strategy) to grow a consistent income for your Heart-based Business.

In today's dynamic entrepreneurial landscape, the path to becoming a powerful and profitable soulpreneur—someone who blends heart-centered values with business acumen—can be both exhilarating and overwhelming. For many emerging soulpreneurs, the journey from having zero clients to being fully booked may seem daunting.
However, with a well-crafted blueprint, this transition can be streamlined, making your dream of a thriving business a reality.
Here are a few essential things to focus on when you’re first starting out or you have had some sporadic sales but you’re not yet to the level of revenue that will allow you to be what I call an AAA+ Entrepreneur (Afloat, Abundant, Alive +… that little sparkle that makes everything magic).
Afloat means you won’t be worrying about the money coming in, making the ends meet, how to reach your pool of clients, etc. Abundant, self-explanatory. Alive means that by following the method(s) you will find here and in my Mentorship program you will get all this without stress and without feeling overwhelmed! + … the plus is for all the magic and synchronicities that Life keeps on abundantly offering to us to meet our Heart-Mission.

Step 1 » Understanding what you stand for & developing your APB
Understanding what you stand for will help you build an Authentic Personal Brand (people only look for authentic!). Your potential clients will get a sense of what kind of person you are and what you have to offer them, but most importantly how you will offer it to them. This will be expressed in your branding.
We are still using this old-fashioned term “brand” and many spiritual entrepreneurs find inner resistance towards it, as they associate it with “pumping up the ego”. Actually, it is all the opposite.
You can read more about what Authentic Personal Branding actually is and how to build yours with ease in this article, but for now just know that understanding and communicating your values, your ethics, your YES - YESes and your NO-NOs is as much important as the quality of the service you want to provide.
Branding is not (only) about the visual identity, the color palette of your website or your personal styling. It has a lot to do with what you stand for and your deep core values and the ways through which you choose to communicate them to your audience.
APB is related to your personality and this is very important to remember as a Spiritual Entrepreneur or Coach who is just starting out with building their audience: even if somebody else is doing what you are doing, they probably won’t be doing it in the same way you are doing it.
Think of it like two brush-artists who are painting a sunset picture and each can look very different from the other, even though the subject is the same.
Step 2 » Being part of the Conversation & Building your Audience
Unless you have a strictly local, word-of-mouth, already high- performing business (in which case you wouldn’t be reading this article 😉), you possibly need to build your presence online and connect through the ether with your ideal clients and strategic network connections.
In the digital age, having a robust online presence is crucial for reaching and engaging with potential clients. Leverage social media platforms, blogs, and email newsletters to share valuable content that resonates with your audience. Regularly update your platforms with insights, tips, and personal stories that showcase your expertise and passion. This not only positions you as a thought leader in your field but also helps you build a community of followers who are eager to work with you.
I know the thought of “creating content” or “being constantly out there on the internet” may be daunting or nauseating for some of you, but if you are serious about becoming a Powerful & Profitable Soulpreneur (especially if you want to offer your digital products/services online and work from anywhere in the world), there is no workaround that.

Step 3 » Provide an exceptional Value and Service
Delivering exceptional value and service is crucial for establishing long-term relationships with clients. If you want to have happy clients, ensure that your offerings not only meet but exceed client expectations.
I see entrepreneurs who say they are centred in their Heart and then… they are not! I had direct experience of joining some high-end business mentorship programs where the mentor was marketing herself as a very spiritual, heart-centred and empathetic business mentor.
Her energy came through as authentic to me (I’ve been studying her for a while and then decided to make a big investment because I felt she was authentic). I’m sure she had the best intentions, but as a matter of fact, when I became a client of one of her most expensive programs, my expectations as a client were not met! I was left to myself and I was feeling unheard and unseen in her program.
This experience accelerated the birth of my group Mentorship program, which is structured in such a way that the intimacy of the group stay ensured throughout time, so that all the people in it can feel seen, heard, strategically guided and supported. Making sure to providing good values for your clients is the best long-term fidelity building and potentially free marketing strategy, even though when you are a Heart-centred service provider you don’t do it for those reasons.
You intuitively know how to do it because you are following the compass of your Heart (warning! Many service providers may struggle with weak boundaries and self-worth issues and this may reflect in giving too much to their clients, getting too little money for their efforts, or feeling that they are working 24/7. We make sure to address all of these issues in the live Mentorship program).
Even though there are other steps to the Blueprint for a Powerful & Profitable service provider / soulpreneur, these 3 are the foundational ones you want to focus on at the beginning.
Ideas and experiences on how to get from zero clients to fully booked up
There are possibly millions way you can go from 0 to your first 20k and it would be very long to list them all here. There is a basic rule of thumb that has worked for me and for all my clients so far. If you, as a Soulpreneur, want to reach your ideal market (the people who are eager to meet somebody like you and willing to pay for your services) the basic rule of thumb that works for all is: tune into your Intuition!
No need to make this harder than it is, but let me repeat it again: you want to find out how to reach your best-fit audience and market? Follow your Intuition!
Your intuition will serve you the best ideas about - for example - what to create content about, which events to go to, what to write to your email list on any specific day, what to publish on your YouTube channel. It will serve you the shortest pathways to synchronically meet the people that will either become your direct client at some point, or will somehow enable you to find new ones (gatekeepers, networkers, invitations to speak, etc). You never know how much goodness is in store for you, so just give it a go!
When it comes to initial stage marketing, there is no such thing like a specific set of rules to go from 0 to your first 20k in sales, apart from the ABC of the Blueprint we have talked about earlier. The pathways are infinite and they’re very dependable on your particular circumstances.
I’m a big supporter of building a strong Intuitive Business for Heart-Centered Entrepreneurs so you will have access to unique-to-you insights on how to roll out your first offers and sales.
However, here’s the catch.
If you’re anything like me, you’re scrolling every day the internet looking for “solutions” that will fix your “problem”.
Problem: how to make your first money and find your ideal clients while providing your medicine-services while staying connected to your Heart / Values.
(What you think of as the) Solution: learning a specific step-by-step strategy from somebody else that has done it before so you (think) will achieve the same results.
Some of you may want to find these strategies for free, so they read an improbable amount of social media posts and detailed articles like this one with the only result of exhausting themselves and stifling their original creativity trying to follow somebody else’s path.
This is a danger-zone for any Intuitive Business like the one you want to build from the bottom of your Heart!
Some other are ready to invest big amounts of money in order to have the “Holy Grail” of marketing and so they go from one course to another, from one group program to another, from one biz mentorship to another and still are NOT creating the Life & Business that is truly in their Heart-Dreams.
Truth is that until you allow yourself to be stressed out by your mind problem (“I have to find out how to make money with my services now - yesterday!”), you won’t be in the correct Mind & Heart space for your intuition to hit.
You won’t be following the clues of your Body and you won’t be able to feel beyond the surface, as you’re too busy pottering around with this ever-present anxiety of how-to-find-your-market all day long. Repeating this anxious state for months or years in a row it will sure lead you to exhaustion, to think about quitting (multiple times!) and to look elsewhere outside of yourself for the solutions.
It is really simple - and really hard to accept sometimes - that You are the only one that has the keys to true Prosperity in your Soul-led Business. Stop looking at what others are doing, how they’re doing it and the economic or number results they have achieved.
Yes, you can look around for curiosity, research or inspiration, but you won’t find the final solution (meaning the winning strategy for you!) anywhere outside of yourself.

Real Life story of how I signed up my first few clients
When I signed up my very first client for Life coaching over 10 years ago, I was in my 20s and with no previous experience whatsoever either in marketing, sales or let alone managing client acquisition and retention. I didn’t have a website and NO social media presence. I had just returned to my home country (Italy) after 2+ years of living in the amazing countryside on the premises of a permaculture Villa on the enchanting island of Ibiza (Spain).
I had rented a room in a shared apartment - as I did not have any place to live other than my parents’ - so to keep a window of sanity out of the crazy buzz of Milan I opted for a smaller city about a 40’ car ride on the west side of the big city where I could literally walk to Nature fields from home.
Let me help you picture the situation: in Italy the coaching industry (if so you wanna call it) is lagging 20 years behind compared to the English speaking countries. If “coaching” was to be known at all it was related to career or business coaching in corporate environments. I was offering private packages of personal transformation to private clients not in a corporate environment and I was finding myself with no online presence, starting from 0, with no income and absolutely 0 reputation, in a new small city with with no local network of friends or acquaintances.
Do you think it can get any harder?
What I had was a strong spiritual practice. I was strongly connected to my Intuition and I was fearless enough to Trust it. So, one day I just walk out from home and introduce myself to a nearby healing center which I was feeling attracted to. My intention was to talk to the owner to arrange some conferences or events where I could speak about personal growth based on the Heart. I end up in the owner office (a very nice woman) talking to her for over an hour. She decided to sign up with me.
She became my first official client ever!
In just one day I had made enough money to pay for my full living expenses for the month - and the best part was that I stressed zero about it. I didn’t have any particular “marketing” strategy other than following what I felt guided to do… that’s the trick! As I said, at that time, I was coming home after 2 years spent on a gorgeous island basically in a sabbatical, doing healing inner work, spiritual practice and practicing Nature connection daily. If you’re living in a city environment and you’re following a stressful routine, it is quiet hard to get to that point of consistently and fearlessly trusting your Intuition, even when it comes to life-altering money decisions!
But you can consider joining the Easy Mastermind to have a weekly space of landing and grounding into your Body while receiving tailored energetic Guidance, besides straight talk about biz and answering all of your questions.
At that time it was easy for me to show up authentically and fearlessly to give space to my sacred creation, but it is not that easy to uphold that frequency (especially with family, couple, your own ego or other drama getting in the way) without relying on an intentional and loving support group.
When I signed up my first ideal client, I just showed up authentically as I was and followed my intuition, without hoping for something, without trying to push a hidden agenda or trying to meet any sales goals.
AND… I hit it! I made a very effortless sale! To a person that until 5 minutes prior of meeting me didn’t even know about the existence of what I was offering (she didn’t know what “coaching” was). Yet she trusted me because I was showing up in my confidence. And I was confident in myself, not because I had read somewhere that “you have to show up confident to make sales”, but instead because I was genuinely confident as I was genuinely believing that I was simply doing what I was supposed to do. I didn’t mean to sell to her, but she was hooked.
And I was extremely grateful.
The best next part is that, having that she was managing a healing center (she is a Theta healer herself), she offered me the opportunity to do some workshops there, so I made one event and 75% of the audience signed up to become my client! Now I had another 5 months of living expenses totally covered up, without worrying about a thing, just following my natural flow and my intuition and without spending any money nor endless time on social media for marketing.
You see how this happened? Can you see how one event led to the next one, and that NONE of this would have happened if I had followed somebody else’s strategy, ‘cause nobody would have told me to go speak to her!
What allowed me to be “that lucky” is that I was riding on the wave of the correct Frequency for me of co-creation with the Universe. I took each and every signed contract with new clients as a gift from the Universe. Truly allowing me to follow my Mission with ease.
There is a continuation to this real Life story that I share with the Mastermind fellows when they join the group live calls. It is about another BIG teaching I had about how to create a sustainable over time strategy based on Intuition and not only be it a one-time event.
Breaking the barrier to making your first money
and do what you actually love - and you’re meant to - be doing!
Heart-centered entrepreneurs often face unique challenges when trying to find their first clients or make their initial sales. Here are five common barriers:
1. Self-Doubt and Imposter Syndrome: many heart-centered entrepreneurs struggle with feelings of inadequacy or fear of not being good enough. This self-doubt can lead to hesitation in promoting their services or, even when you take courage and start promoting yourself online or at an in-person event, your energy won’t still come across right if self-doubt is sneaking in your Subconscious;
2. Limited Visibility and Inexistent Reputation: when you’re starting out from zero you will probably have closely to none visibility online and obviously no reputation (as you have had little to none actual clients so far). But this should not put you down… We all start from somewhere!
Building a client base requires visibility and connections, but many new entrepreneurs struggle with marketing themselves effectively and reaching their target audience. You may break this barrier by relying on an effective strategy to get noticed (based on your Intuitive Guidance, that we make space for in the Mentorship program) and by starting building your network for opportunity creations.
3. Lack of Confidence about Pricing: setting the right price for your services can be challenging at times. Most heart-centered entrepreneurs may undervalue their offerings, either out of a desire to make their services accessible or due to uncertainty about their worth in the market. I cover the topic of Aligned Pricing in another article.
4. Fear of Selling: many heart-centered entrepreneurs might not have a background in sales - and this is not a problem at all! Feel free to be yourself around people and sales conversations will happen naturally. If you stay grounded in your empathy and don’t go in over-helping mode.
Many Soulpreneurs are Highly Sensitive people and recovering People-Pleasers: they feel uncomfortable with sales techniques and view them as manipulative rather than helpful.
I personally don’t recommend to any of my clients to follow any sales technique other than staying grounded in their Heart, listening deeply to other people and fully believing in their offering. There is no need of following a specific template for sales, if you don’t want to.
In most cases, though, what is keeping you out of the sales game is the fear of selling, which is just another layer of the Fear of being seen.
In fact, what happens in selling?
Basically, you have to tell a stranger all the details about your offer/service (that you’ve come to create with so much care over so many years of hard work and pouring your heart into it) and put a cold price-tag on your wittiness, expertise and heart-warming service.
It can feel a little bit like standing naked in front of a crowd and standing there until somebody gives you a superficial verdict about how it looks. It is not fun, right? But when you’ve done enough inner work to dismantle the fear of judgment and the fear of being seen from the process of sales, your business will ramp up like no other!
5. Procrastination: the desire to offer a perfect product or service can lead to procrastination. Heart-centered entrepreneurs might spend excessive time refining their offerings instead of launching and learning from real-world feedback.
You may have a million of invaluable ideas in your mind and a true desire to serve, knowing that what you have to offer will certainly ease the path for other people, however every successful entrepreneur knows the needs of their clients well and respond to them.
Before that s/he knows well the desires, wanting, pain-points of his/her audience and typically fine tune her offerings in a healthy feedback loop with the market.
There are no limits to creativity, originality and personal touch in what you have to offer, but I would say that there is one big limit in activating sales, or constrain.
It’s simple: people who buy your service need to trust you. If you put off creating a relationship with your ideal audience (even when it’s not there yet) by procrastinating the required actions that will eventually create a flow-marketing for you, you’ll be procrastinating the chance to break that barrier to your earning your first good money by doing what you love over and over again.
To defeat the barrier of procrastination having a reliable Guidance Group like the Easy Mastermind or an accountability partner that you can trust will keep you in the loop of performing useful actions in a timely manner and this will allow your Soul-led business to flourish with Love and Care.
Finally, addressing the barriers to make your first sales & money by doing what you’re meant to be doing often involves building confidence, developing marketing strategies, and shifting the focus from perfection to progress and learning.
By following the steps highlighted so far you can transform your heart-centered passion into a powerful and profitable soulpreneur business. It requires dedication, clarity, and a willingness to embrace both the joys and challenges of entrepreneurship. With each step, you’ll move closer to the realisation your vision and a fully booked business that not only thrives financially but also makes you feel like you’re following your Purpose with joy & ease.
